There are various benefits that you may be entitled to in certain situations, such if you are a carer for another person.  These include Council Tax benefit, Carer’s National Insurance Credit and others.

You may be entitled to Council Tax benefit if you don’t work because of your responsibilities as a carer.

Carer’s NI Credit assists with your National Insurance contributions while you are a carer.

The person you care for may also be entitled to certain benefits, such as the Winter Fuel Payment.
